Diane Nyberg
Originally from North Vancouver, I have called the Sunshine Coast home since 1989. I have always been drawn to a rural lifestyle—living close to the land, appreciating hand-built homes, and finding peace in gardens, beaches, and forest trails. Nature has long been a source of inspiration and comfort in my life.
After retiring from a career in landscaping, I finally found the time to pursue painting. As an emerging artist, I continue to explore different materials, techniques, and styles while developing my own creative voice.
Many of my paintings begin with photographs I have taken of my garden, my travels, and the beautiful landscapes of the Sunshine Coast. These moments inspire me to capture the beauty and serenity of the places I love.
Becoming a member of the Mission Point Painters has been one of the most rewarding parts of my artistic journey. I am continually inspired by this talented group of women, each with her own unique style, techniques, and creative perspective. Their generosity, encouragement, and willingness to share their knowledge have helped me grow—not only as a painter, but in the confidence to express myself through art. I am truly grateful to be part of such a supportive and inspiring community.
