Kathryn Poole
I moved to the Sunshine Coast permanently in 2018 after falling in love with it during a visit in 2012. After nearly 40 years in the hospitality industry, I was finally able to retire in 2020 and devote more time to the things I love — especially art.
Although I’ve been painting for many years, primarily in oils and acrylics, I now have the freedom to explore a variety of mediums depending on the subject — most recently, Cold Wax and Oil.
Not being tied to any particular style allows me to experiment with different techniques and themes, drawing inspiration from the paradise that is the Sunshine Coast and from the creativity of my fellow artists.
